Payment
After service is complete, customers will receive an invoice for repair/recertification, which will include all costs for parts, labor & shipping. Payment of this invoice is due before serviced devices are returned. Cost of recertification, qualified repairs and shipping is covered for PMP customers.
Shipping
Customers will receive a packing list and tracking information on the day the serviced device is prepared for return delivery. Qualifying PMP customers can enjoy free return shipping, as well as, free shipping on loaner devices. All international shipments (outside the US) require the customer’s shipping account information or a prepaid shipping label be provided by the customer.
Customer Authorizations and Acknowledgements
Customers are authorizing Techkon USA to proceed with repairs under $1,200 in total. If additional repairs are necessary, Techkon USA will provide an estimate in advance. Customers are subject to a minimum charge of $250 should they decide NOT TO move ahead with estimated repairs after a device has been evaluated. Recertification of a device is required if it has been more than 1 year since it’s last recertification date. The typical turnaround for a recertification (not including repairs) is 4-5 business days. The customer understands that this is an estimate, not a guarantee, and that the turnaround time could be longer, depending on time of year. Customers are also confirming that they fully understand the conditions of the factory warranty.
Please note: full service for the first generation SpectroJet & SpectroPlate, as well as, the SpectroDens3 has recently been discontinued. While we can still offer a recertification, service may not be completed on the device if repairs are needed. We are no longer able to recertify or repair the SpectroDens2 due to the lack of parts.
If during any device assessment it is determined that we cannot proceed with the recertification, there will be minimum charge of $250 plus return S&H. We appreciate your understanding.
