spectrophotometer (In French spectrophotomètre) unlike a colorimeter, a colorimetric measuring instrument that measures spectrally; modifications: inline spectrophotometer (measures colors in moving paths or arcs), spectrodensitometer (can also measure color density/density spectrum), goniospectrophotometer (measures color depending on the angle).
