electron beam curing/EBC inks (In French encres EB/séchées aux radiations) printing inks which cure through the influence of radiation from an electron beam source (tungsten cathode, Compton wavelength: 0.0024 nm) in an inert gas protective atmosphere. The ionizing effect is so strong the no photoinitiator is required to trigger the cross-linking reaction; application printing germ-free pharmaceutical packages.
