contract color-proofed (In French épreuve couleur contractuelle) quality of a digital proof or press proof whose printed image agrees with the subsequent production run image in color rendering, whereby compliance with the relevant tolerances (color and chromaticness distances in the evaluation of a control element, e.g. media wedge) is to be documented so that it is forgery-proof.
